Equitable Mobility

Andrea María Navarrete Mogollón: Bogotá D.C., Bogotá D.C., Colombia; Andrea María Navarrete Mogollón holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Literature and a Master's degree in Philosophy from Universidad Industrial de Santander (Bucaramanga). With extensive experience in the public sector, she served as the Bicycle Manager of Bogotá under the District Mobility Secretariat. Currently, she is a gender and social inclusion consultant for projects in active mobility, security, habitat, and public space, and she coordinates the gender component in the Technical Direction of Safety, at Transmilenio S.A. She was recognized in 2020 on TUMI's Remarkable Women in Transport list. Andrea is a theoretical-practical cyclist, a member of the European network of women cyclists, Women in Cycling, and served as a mentor for the Women on the Move project in Asia. Andrea leads the Research, Data Analysis, and Policy group for the FEM.DESIGN TOOLBOX team by The Gendered City Project. Currently, she is a transport engineering Ph.D. student at the Universidad de Los Andes. Her research focuses on the intersection of active transportation infrastructure and gender.
